The Way Home என்றொரு கொரியா படம் பார்த்தேன். இந்த படத்தை பத்தி ஆனந்த விகடனில் ஒரு முறை எழுதி இருந்தார்கள். As I work in a MNC got hold of a girl who is in கொரியா and asked her about this movie. நேற்று சுஜாதா அவர்களின் பிரிவோம் சந்திப்போம் இரண்டாம் பாகம் படித்தேன். இது முதல் முறை அல்ல. ஆனாலும் முதல் முறையாக படிப்பதை போன்ற ஒரு உணர்வு. கொஞ்ச நாட்களுக்கு முன்னால் இந்த நாவலை தழுவி எடுக்கப்பட்ட படத்தை பார்த்தேன். கதையில் பெரிய மாற்றம் எதுவும் செய்யப்படவில்லை. இருந்தாலும் நாவலை போன்ற விறு விறுப்பு படத்தில் இல்லை.
ரகுவின் காதலை நாவலில் முழுமையாக உணரலாம். ஆனால் படத்தில் அந்த உணர்வே இல்லை. ஹீரோ எல்லாம் வேறு யாருக்கோ நடப்பதை பார்த்துக் கொண்டு இருக்கிறார்

Kerala - Cochin

For a long time, I have been planning this trip. Visited Cochin when I was a kid in 1981 and again in 1988. Now could not find anything common from those visits. All and everything has changed. Change is the only constant, right?

Lot of sky scrappers and new malls. I see a change in people as well. The distinct Keralite look is gone for sure. We are all losing our identity in this world of globalisation.
